For the past year my personal Facebook and Tail-Waggers Facebook Page and Twitter have been covered with posts of pets looking for foster homes, adoptable pets, missing pets, fundraising events and pets seeking urgent donations. On each post I wrote a wording that reads: “SHARE A LINK. SAVE A PAW! “.
Why? -Almost a year ago we launched “SHARE A LINK. SAVE A PAW! campaign to increase the exposure of dogs and cats in need so they find the help they’re seeking faster. Thus we guest blog on Bitty Paws and Blog Paws to spread the word. Our campaign was also mentioned on Furry Fluffy Blog and The Power Of Pets Facebook Page. We are happy to see many people and business are engaging and helping dogs and cats this way -not because of our campaign- but because they realize the power of social media when used for a good cause.
Tail-Waggers campaign has to evolve because there is always a little bit more that we can do to help our canine pals. Thus we are thrilled to announce the “TAIL-WAGGERS DOG’S PROJECT”.
Tail-Waggers Dog’s Project will make each one of our current clients a sponsor. How? Once a month Tail-Waggers will make a donation on behalf of one of our clients using the money from the Dog Walking services we provide to a chosen shelter, rescue, or specific animal in need. After talking with many people involved in rescue we know that NO AMOUNT IS TOO SMALL to help out!
Who will we sponsor? Any registered shelter, rescue or agency in the Ontario area. If you know of a specific DOG that is seeking donations for any urgent vet bill and that is under the care of a shelter, rescue or agency, in Ontario, please contact me through this Facebook Page ONLY.
Stay tuned in a couple of days to find out who which one of our clients will kick off The Tail-Waggers Project and which rescue group will receive January’s donation!
